Special Events

Many shows and events take place in the Atlantic City Convention Center. Shows include the Antique and Classic Car Auction and Flea Market and the Atlantic City Boat Show in February, and the Antiques and Collectibles Exposition in mid-March and mid-October. The Archery Classic is held in late April. Three arts and crafts shows are held in Brighton Park: one in mid-May, one in early July and one in early September.

Other special events in Atlantic City include the New Jersey Fresh Seafood Festival, which takes place at Gardner's Basin Maritime Park, and the National Boardwalk Professional Art Show, both held in June.

The Atlantic City Around-the-Island Marathon Swim around Absecon Island takes place in August. The Labor Day Weekend Festival features arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles in Brighton Park. The Indian Summer Weekend is held on the Boardwalk in October, and the Atlantic City Christmas Parade takes place in December.
