About West Orange

With its sister municipalities—Orange, South Orange, East Orange and Maplewood—the city of West Orange is a primarily residential section of the Newark suburbs. An overlook in Eagle Rock Reservation, west on Eagle Rock Avenue, affords a view of much of the densely populated metropolitan area. West Orange is probably best known for its association with Thomas Edison.
